Kalmah es una banda de estilo death metal melódico procedentes de Oulu, Finlandia formada en 1998.El estilo de Kalmah está fuertemente influenciado por el death metal melódico, thrash metal y speed metal.

Kalmah es comparado en ocasiones con otros grupos de metal finlandeses como Children of Bodom y Norther, teniendo un sonido fuerte y melódico. Al igual que Children of Bodom, Kalmah posee elementos de metal neo-clásicos en su música, acompañados de prominentes melodías de teclado.
